Bansi Joshi
Bansi Joshi, born in Western India, is an emerging artist based on Darug Country in Sydney who explores ideas of identity, feminism and the body through her printmaking, drawing and book-making practise. She is currently working with the visual language of craft to generate conversations about socio-political issues.
She completed her BFA at the National Art School in 2022 and has works in collections across Australia including Curtin University, RMIT and University of Southern Queensland. Joshi also received the Parkers Sydney Fine Art Printmaking Award in 2022.
